Arts & Crafts help to open the door to self expression especially at the beginning of the Montessori year. Separation from home is a new experience and can be very unsettling, but a simple pot of paint, a brush and paper will relax every child and as the year progresses creativity comes alive!

As our world becomes more computer based, it is important to allow our children to develop a love for books. Our Practical life programme includes a demonstration of the correct way to handle a book and the freedom of library time refines this skill.

Stories, projects, puppets and newstime are all part of our daily circle time. Every child can listen and share their thoughts and ideas. Every day is different, sometimes we play the Silence game or “Guess The Sound” or “Rhythm Taps “. Circle time becomes interactive.
